The RTCA Crusaders competed this past weekend at State in Columbus. The meet was held at Brookstone. We had several top 5 finishes and brought home 6 individual State Championships. Our boys finished 3rd overall and our girls finished 4th against all single A and AA schools.
Coach Jake Willkinson commented, "It may not have been what we wanted as far as team finishes go. But I am so proud of how the team competed with a lot of big injuries late in the season." Aaron Hankerson brought home the High Point award for the second straight year. Our program will miss our seniors: Emmie Davis, Rachel Threlkeld, David Hill, Tripp Durden, AJ Jones, Aaron Hankerson, and Eli Baker. Davis and Threlkeld have been a part of 3 State Runner Up teams. Durden, Hankerson, and Baker have been a part of a State Championship winning team.
