Vidalia High School track and field traveled to Pierce County for the AA Region 3 championship and came home with the win for the boys and girls team.  According to the Milesplit rankings, the girls were projected to win, but the boys were the underdogs and had their work cut out for themselves.  At the end of the day, they outperformed Appling County clinching the team championships and advancing 35 athletes  to the sectional meet next week at East Jackson High School.

Cash Driggers continues to dominate in his events bringing home the win in the 800, 1600, 4x800 and runner up in the 4x400, while also earning the High Point Award.  Georgia Meredith was runner up in the High Point Award while winning the 800, and placing 2nd in the 1600, 3200 and 4x800.
