A “Celebration of Life Service” for Mrs. Kay Jamelle Rotton Aaron of Vidalia will be held Thursday, April 25, 2024 at 11:00 AM at her residence located at 541 Newsome Road, Vidalia, GA in Montgomery County. Reverend Baron Powell will officiate. Mrs. Aaron died Monday, April 22, 2024.
Mrs. Aaron, 63, was born in Troy, AL on January 27, 1961. Her family moved to Treutlen County in 1971 and she graduated from Treutlen High School as a member of the “Class of 1979”. She also was a graduate of Middle Georgia College receiving her degree as a Registered Nurse. Kay had been a RN for almost 30 years and had been employed by Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia for many of those years. She had been a resident of Montgomery County for the past 27 years and was a Baptist by faith. She loved her beautiful flower gardens at home and will forever be loved and missed by her family and all who knew her. Her father, Louie Rotton, grandson, Clayton Hutcheson and step-father, Aaron Powell, all preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughter, Teresa (Gary) George of Lyons; son, Thomas (Sara) Hutcheson of Milledgeville; mother, Tommie Rotton Powell of East Dublin; two brothers, Mickey (Gwenda) Rotton of Metter and Don (Sissy) Rotton of Lothair; two step-brothers, Baron (Judy) Powell and Daron (Melanie) Powell, all of East Dublin; step-sister, Caron (Ernest) Murphy of Hiram; six grandchildren, Emily George, Shaunna Hutcheson, Kameron Hutcheson, Alaina Hutcheson, Braden Hutcheson, Lizzie Hutcheson and several nieces/nephews.
