Coach Mandy Godbee, "Many athletes were put in different events this week to replace some injured athletes. While some were out of their comfort zone, they stepped up and competed exceptionally well. Cash Driggers ran anchor leg of the 4×200 for the first time only to step off the track and run a big personal best in the 800. Cash has run a PR every single time he has competed in the 800 this year. Georgia Meredith is no stranger to personal best times. She too has had multiple personal best times at every meet this season while sweeping the win in 3 events at Toombs. Dashia Ford and DJ Wallace have developed into very competitive hurdlers. Dashia ran under 16 seconds for the first time ever while DJ is quickly approaching the sub 17 barrier in the 110h."
"These athletes never back down from a challenge and always step up and give 100%. We are very excited for their upcoming home meet on March 22 at Buck Cravey Field." Coach Godbee. (Courtesy of Vidalia Athletics)
