On Friday night, the Bulldogs traveled to Blackshear for two big region matchups.

The girls played well, but dropped their match to the #1 team in the region, Pierce County. This loss moves the girls record to 7-3 in region play, where they currently sit at #3 behind Pierce County and Savannah Arts.

The boys matchup featured the top 2 teams in the region. Senior Yovanny Zomorano would score a goal in the 1st half, and that would prove to be enough for the bulldogs to pick up the key region win. The back line, and keeper Tucker Brodnax turned in another strong performance to record their impressive 6th clean sheet of the season. The boys are now 10-2 overall, and 8-2 in region play. The 2 losses move them 1 game ahead of 3 teams who all have 3 losses.

Both girls and boys teams will be back in action this week. They will travel to Brantley County on Tuesday for matches at 5pm and 7pm and then will host Savannah Arts on Friday at 5pm and 7pm. Be sure to come out and support our soccer teams as they start to close out region play.
