At approximately 5 pm Saturday, March 16th, the Vidalia Police Department responded to shots fired at East Jenkins and Epstein Streets. Upon arrival, officers found Justin Godfrey, age 23 of Soperton and Iesha Wicker, age 18 of Soperton suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported via personal vehicle to Memorial Health-Meadows Hospital where they succumbed to their injuries.
