Mrs. Terry J. Powell, age 66, of Normantown, died Monday, March 11, 2024, at Medical University of South Carolina Hospital in Charleston, South Carolina. She was a native of Soperton and lived most of her life in Vidalia. She worked for Southern Company for more than twenty years and loved her grandchildren and all of her animals. Terry was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Clyde Powell.

Mrs. Terry is survived by her children, Jesse Powell and wife Jessie of Vidalia, and Jamie Drew and husband Nathan of Five Points Community; one sister, Kay Alfonso of Vidalia; and four grandchildren, Cassie, Ethan, Brandon, and Izabell.

The family will receive friends at Wilkes Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 5:00 until 7:00.

A private interment will be held at a later date.
