VHS Indians Boys Basketball
Friday, 14 December 2012

December 14--The VHS Indians Boys Basketball Team is undefeated so far this young season. The team is finding ways to win games while struggling on offense.

" So far our kids have competed at a high level, they are playing hard, the good part about it is, we are finding ways to win games with our defensive effort for the most part, we are trying to workout some kinks on the offensive end. Defense wins a lot of games for you, and for right now that's what's really carrying us. We are working hard to get the offense right, and hopefully it will be there before to much longer. I can't complain about our kids effort, and how hard they work, we are on the right track." Coach Tommy Dalley said.

" The rust has been falling off at a high rate, the basketball legs are coming back for our players that were on the football team. The touch is coming back, I think that has had a little bit to do with our offensive woes as of late, but that's going to be there, and that's going to come, we just have to be patient with it, we are working to get it right." Dalley stated.

The Indians have three big games coming up this next week, beginning Friday night at home with Benedictine, and then travel to Richmond Hill on Saturday afternoon. Tuesday they play against rivals Toombs Co, in Lyons.
