Dec 11---Vidalia senior soccer standout Allison Edenfield inked a scholarship to play soccer at Emmanuel College on Tuesday. Edenfield who was the Region 2AA Defensive player of the year in 2012, will play her final season with the Lady Indians this spring said that after a visit to the campus in Franklin Springs this summer, she knew that was the place for her. "When we went there this summer, everything just seemed to click, it just seemed like the right fit, as they offer the courses that I want to pursue in college and they have a great soccer program." Coach William Harn who is in his 4th year as Head Coach for the Lady Indians, credits Edenfield's hard work and determination as the factors that secured her scholarship. "Allison is a very hard worker and very determined, she puts in the work and not only here at Vidalia, but also with her travel squad." Edenfield and the Lady Indians will open up their 2013 season in March.
