East Georgia Splits Pair With South Georgia Tech

The East Georgia College Bobcats got a win in their first conference game of the 2012-2013 season as they went on the road and beat South Georgia Tech by a score of 75-59.

Jordan Johnson was his usual productive self, scoring 26 points with four rebounds and two assists. He was five of 10 from behind the arc. Tre’ HaGood continued to fill the stat sheet, scoring 16 points with eight rebounds, eight assists, and two steals. He continues to be one of the best all around players in the country.

Meanwhile the East Georgia College Lady Bobcats went up against South Georgia Tech for their first conference game of the season. Despite playing tough throughout the game, they weren’t able to do quite enough and fell by a score of 67-49.

Keamoney Locke played every minute of the game and scored 11 points with seven rebounds and one assist. She continues to play well in the post and put up consistently strong numbers.

The next home game for both teams is on Saturday, December 8, at 3 p.m. in the EGSC Gym.
