Vikings Drop Finale to End Season at 5 - 5
Saturday, 10 November 2012

November 9--  The Treutlen Vikings went on the road for the third straight week, this time to Calvary Day in Savannah and ended their season on a losing note to the Cavaliers by a score of 70 - 14.

Nothing seemed to go the Vikings way as the Cavaliers took advantage of poor tackling and several turnovers to jump out to a 35 - 0 first quarter lead and never looked back.  Down by a score of 63 - 0, the Vikings finally got on the board with 16 seconds left in the third quarter when QB Matthew Powell hit Kris King on a 25 yard TD reception.  Treutlen would score again with 1:21 remaining in the game when QB Kris King found Miguel Johnson on a 2 yard pass.  Sophomore Kicker Nathan Drake was 2 for 2 on PAT's for the night.  Calvary Day would add another score late to take the 70 - 14 victory.

The Vikings end their season with a 5 - 5 record.
