Snow Day at Sally Meadows Elementary
Friday, 09 January 2009

January 9--  Outstanding students at Sally Meadows Elementary School in Vidalia got to enjoy some snow Friday morning on the playground.  It was all courtesy of a snow machine made available by the Vidalia Lions Club to reward students with top grades in the third, fourth and fifth grades.

Lions Club VP Jeff Palmer says it's a good partnership with the school.  "It's a reward for the kids who maintain one A and two B's in math, science and social studies.  We're proud to be part of that," he said.
