Indians Scalp Rebels

Oct 5th---Senior running back Juan Foster ran for 212 yards and 2 touchdowns and the Vidalia defense held the Rebel offense to just 14 total yards as the Vidalia Indians ran by the Atkinson County Rebels 35-6, Friday night in Pearson. Foster scored on runs of 4 and 21 yards on a wet sloppy field as the Indians moved to 6-0 on the year and 5-0 in Region 2AA play. Tra Hardy, Rashaad Thompkins and Darrius Brown also had TD runs of 21 yards, 1 yard and 6 yards respectively as the Vidalia offense continued to rack up large numbers on the ground. Atkinson County's lone score came with less than 5 minutes to go in the game, when linebacker Brandon Faulkner picked up a Vidalia fumble and raced 64 yards for the score.

The Indians be off this Friday and will play on October 19th when they host the Bryan County Redskins at Buck Cravey field for Homecoming 2012.
