Cedar Crossing Groundbreaking

ImageOctober 2--  Members of the Toombs County Commission gathered in Cedar Crossing Tuesday afternoon to break ground on a new building which will serve as the new EMS building for the southern part of the county and also as a Voting Precinct building for voters in the Cedar Crossing area.

Harper Construction of Douglas has been awarded a $374,000 contract to build the 2,400 square foot building.  Work is expected to be completed within six months.
