Lyons Better Hometown Exec Retiring

January 8--  The executive director of the Lyons Better Hometown program is retiring.  Joy Lewis informed the city council Tuesday night that January 23rd will be her last day on the job.  Lewis has directed the program since 2001 and was praised by Mayor John Moore for many initiatives and improvements in the downtown area during her tenure.  Lewis says she needs to spend more time with her elderly parents who live in Cumming.
