Montgomery Co. Lady Eagles Softball
Tuesday, 28 August 2012
August 28--The Montgomery Co. Lady Eagles Softball Team has started the 2012 season with a 1-5 record but, Coach Jason Clark still is happy with his team so far this season,
" I can't complain, we have been facing some teams tough competition playing in classification above us, East Laurens, Toombs, Swainsboro to start off the year, it has prepared us for region play." Clark said.
" I could'nt be happier the how we started off last week with our first region game against Jenkins Co., we came out on top 10-8 in 8 innings. My players did what I asked for any game and, that is just to stay close for the last couple of innings if you are not leading and, just give yourself a chance to pull thru and, that is what we did." Clark stated.
The Lady Eagles play two games this week, Wheeler Co. away at 4:00pm on Tuesday and, the first region home game of the year, Thursday at 5:00pm against Portal.
Clark said, " This week we have two important games, I am hoping we can start a winning streak and keep it going and, get off to a great start."
