Treutlen Lady Vikings Softball Start Season
Thursday, 23 August 2012
August 23--The Treutlen Lady Vikings Softball Team has started the season with a 3-2 record. The team participated at the Tattnall Co. Tournament this past weekend and Coach Brent Korn is pretty happy with the girls so far this year.

" We are off to a better start this year than last year. I thought we hit the ball real well and, the infield played well, overall we had a good weekend at the tournament." Korn said.

The Lady Vikings play rival Wheeler Co. Thursday at home.

Coach Korn stated, " Wheeler Co. was at the Tattnall tournament and,  I watched them play, Corey Reynolds has done a good job, those grls are getting better everyday. We are going to have to go out there and play well to beat them."

This Friday and Saturday the team will travel to play in the Statesboro tournament, Coach Korn says the competition will be tough, " Wayne Co. and Effingham Co, Cross Creek and Savannah Christian will be there. Hopefully, we will go over there and play well and win 3 or 4 ballgames."
