August 22--The Toombs Co. Lady Bulldogs Softball Team had a big loss to rival Vidalia on Tuesday afternoon, by a score of 10-1. The Lady Dogs coached by Elaine Allen didn't play a good game but, the team doesn't have time to worry about the game because they have more games this week to prepare for.

Coach Allen says, " It is a long season and things just didn't fall our way today and, we still have a lot of games to play. I know they can do better, we are going to work hard, that's why we have practice and, play more games just so, we can get better."

" We didn't hit the ball like we have been hitting it the past two weeks. Give it to Vidalia, they hit the ball and we didn't, that is one of the things you have to work on and move on and not look back, just move forward." Allen said.

" We have St. Vincent at home and, then Atkinson Co. on the road, then we head to Cordele to play three games on Saturday. We are going to work on some things and, do what Lady Dogs softball should do thats' work hard, make plays and get better." Allen stated.
