July 31--Brewton-Parker College in Mt. Vernon has a new Women's Head Basketball Coach, according to Athletic Director Shelia Simmons, she is Kimberly Anderson.

Simmons says, " Miss Anderson is coming to us by way of Concordia College in Selma, Alabama where she is coming off a National Christian College Athletic Association National Championship. We are really excited about the callibar of coach we are getting and we expect big things for her and her program."

" We are excited about our new sports we're going to have for the 2012-13 season, Cross Country which will also allow us to do a little Track & Field with some speciality runners headed by Caleb Snyder, he has a very good reputation for his sport." Simmons said.

" We have wrestling and Jake Brumbelow is the head coach from West Virginia, he is very familiar with building a championship program. We have about 57 wrestlers on campus so, it is a sport that has really taken off as far as interest." stated Simmons.

Simmons went on to say, " With golf I think everybody is familiar with Steve Holton and Judson Clark out at Hawk's Point, they are our men's and women's golf teams coaches."

" Brewton-Parker College has some bright days ahead and a really bright future in the Athletic Program." Simmons said.
