GSU Assistant Head Coach Speaks to Toombs Eagle Club

Georgia Southern Coach Mitch Ware was the featured speaker Thursday night at the Toombs County Eagle Club at Swift Creek Lodge. The assistant Head and quarterbacks coach says he enjoys speaking to the Eagle fan base. He says the fans take true ownership of the program and he appreciates that. Ware says there are currently 4 players vying for the starting QB job, and they should get a clearer picture in the upcoming spring game. Ware says he is, overall, pleased with the progress made over the spring.

Toombs Eagle Club President Brad Tapley was very happy with the turnout of 35-40 Eagle supporters.
