Top rated Appling visited the Toombs County Bulldogs Friday night and exploded for 6 runs in the first 2 innings. After that, James Ethredge settled down and held the Pirates scoreless to the 6th. Bailey Salter came in in the 6th and faced only 3 batters in a quick inning. Then, lightening flashed, and another weather delay. The game was eventually called and Appling gets the 6-0 win.

The Bulldogs will host Jeff Davis on Tuesday at 5:45pm.
