MOCO Baseball/Softball Coach Resigns
Thursday, 08 March 2012

Montgomery County Head baseball and softball coach Madison Herrin handed in his resignation late Wednesday to school Principal Henry Walding. Herrin said he is ready for a new chapter in his life that he hopes will lead to a full time position in the ministry. Herrin is currently part time Youth Minister at Tabernacle Baptist Church. The affable coach said it was a hard decision to make, because sports has been such a huge part of his entire life. He says he has enjoyed being an influence on the young people he has coached and hopes, with his new calling, to influence them in another aspect of their lives. In his 5 years to date, Herrin is 49-30 at Montgomery County. He will finish out the year for the Eagles.
