May 25--  A happy ending for a family from Macon and their dog, "Buddy."  They appealed for help in finding their pet after an accident on I-16.  Today we were notified the dog has been found and returned home.

"Thank you all at your station for printing the story of "Buddy" and our accident on I-16 May 16, 2011.

With your help, Tommy Condrey at Metter Animal Shelter, Ms Debra Johns and her daughter Christy, we were fortunate to find him at Ms Vertie Byrd's, 22 Freedom Lane, on Sunday where Tommy enticed Buddy into a have-a-heart trap with cat food. Buddy and I are truely blessed as not to be injured and recovered after a very serious rollover accident. With our appreciation, Terry Bork O'Brien and Buddy"

May 18--  A couple from Macon is looking for their dog, "Buddy," who has been missing since they were involved in a wreck Monday on I-16.  Their posting is below with a plea for help in finding their dog.

"My dog was ejected from my SUV in a rollover accident on I-16, near Mile Marker 99.5 on May 16, 2011. I returned to look for him after release from the
hospital and could not find him OR any evidence that he had been
injured (no blood).

I would appreciate any information from you at any time
about finding my dog BUDDY.  Our phone #'s and rabies tag should be on
him, Riverside Animal Hospital, Macon, GA,  but not a guarantee.

Please call 912-596-1461  OR 478-714-8451 with any information.

Thankyou for your consideration,

Terry Bork O'Brien and Edward O'Brien
