Toombs County Arrests
Monday, 13 December 2010

December 13--  A Vidalia couple is facing methamphetamine charges after lawmen searched their home at 182 Northland Drive in Vidalia.

Toombs County Sheriff Junior Kight believes John and Cindy Ann Joiner were manufacturing meth based on ingredients and a small amount of the finished product found during the search.

Meanwhile, a man who eluded law enforcement for nearly two days after allegedly assaulting the mother of his child has turned himself in.

Sheriff Kight says Christopher Todd Ennis fled the couple's home east of Lyons and is suspected of breaking into a residence and stealing a firearm later.  Officers mounted a search for Ennis and talked with him frequently on a cellphone until he finally surrendered.
