VPD Investigating Shooting Incident

December 1--  Vidalia police are investigating a shooting incident late Monday afternoon near the Friendly Foods store at the corner of Highway 292 and Morris Street.

A black male allegedly fired three pistol shots at a car occupied by a man, his wife and two children.  Police found two bullet holes in the car.

The driver, Wade Paul, said he almost hit the man in the street and yelled at him to watch where he was walking.  The man yelled an expletive at Wade, fired at the car and ran down Peacock Street.
