Eighty-eight-year old Alice Eleanor Williams was found beaten to death in her home Thursday morning.

Murder Suspect

Treutlen County Sheriff Tommy Corbin says 18-year-old Jordan Nobles and a 15-year-old juvenile were arrested Thursday night.

"I just thank the good Lord.  There were some leads which came in and we and the Soperton Police Department and the GBI started working them real hard.  There was another burglary which occured and we're going to be able to link them to that, too," Sheriff Corbin reports.

Sheriff Corbin says it's hard to understand why the two boys harmed Mrs. Williams after breaking into her house, "She had no way of defending herself or hurting any one of them," he said.

Nobles is being held on murder charges in the Treutlen County jail.  The juvenile is in a juvenile detention center in Eastman, according to the sheriff.
