Weekend Traffic Death

November 1--  A woman was killed and two men injured in a weekend traffic accident in Toombs County.

Sheriff Junior Kight reports 22-year-old Kenisha M. Simmons of Lyons was killed in the wreck which happened just after two a.m. Sunday on C.V. Mosley Boulevard in Vidalia.  Officers say the vehicle missed a curve, overturned and hit a power pole.

Two Lyons men, Marcus S. Toby and Nija Curtis Ransom, were injured and taken to Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia.  A fourth man in the car was not seriously injured, according to the sheriff.

The Georgia State Patrol is investigating the accident.
