October 20--  Officials at the Lyons Animal Shelter are asking for people to help them with overpopulation at the shelter.  Fire Chief Daryl Corley says the shelter is overcrowded and some of the dogs have been there for a long time.  He's appealing to people who want a pet to come adopt now.  He may be contacted at 912-380-0033.
