Toombs Cash Flow Improved

September 14--  Toombs County's cash flow is improving.  For the first time in several years, county officials say they don't anticipate applying for an end of year loan to pay county expenses.

At the September meeting of the county commission, county manager Doug Eaves reported receipt of a $73,000 state grant to buy another ambulance for the county ambulance service.  He also reported another ambulance grant application is being submitted to replace high mileage ambulances.
