July 28--  A Vidalia man has been arrested for Terroristic Acts.

Vidalia Police Chief Frank Waits reports 23-year-old Terrence Woods of 150 Byrd Lane in Vidalia is accused of calling in two bomb threats last Friday to Toombs County E911.  Police say Woods claimed bombs were to go off at Hardee's in Vidalia.

The chief says quick work by E911 operators and Vidalia police led to Woods' arrest within four hours of the calls.

Vidalia police also report the arrest of four juveniles in connection with a rash of auto breakins.

Residents in the Church Street, Amberwood Drive and Forrest Hill Circle areas of town reported thefts from automobiles parked at their homes.  The quartet was apprehended early Saturday morning and charged with Entering an Auto to Commit a Theft, Possession of Marijuana, Curfew Violation and Disturbing the Peace.
