July 12--  There's good news and bad news today regarding state revenue collections.  The month of June showed some improvement, but overall collections are way down for the fiscal year which ended June 30.

Governor Sonny Perdue announced today that net revenue collections for the month of June 2010 (FY 2010) totaled $1,415,998,000 compared to $1,364,350,000 for June 2009 (FY09), an increase of $51,648,000 or 3.8 percent.

June is the final month of FY10.  The percentage decrease for FY10 compared to FY09 is 9.1 percent.
