Toombs Co Man Dies of Injuries

July 5--  A Toombs County man has died of injuries received in a motorcycle accident.

Twenty-year-old Josh Sikes of Lyons was impaled on an exhaust pipe June 18th when his motorcycle slid under the rear of a vehicle.  He was taken to the Medical Center of Central Georgia where he died July 4.

Josh was a 2008 graduate of Toombs County High School and Southeastern Technical College.  He was employed in the lab at Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia.
