State Closes Clark Case
Friday, 18 June 2010

June 18--  The Georgia Department of Law says it's closing the case of former Montgomery County School Superintendent Dale Clark.

Attorneys for the department say Clark did not file an appeal to an administrative law judge's ruling which supported revocation of her education credentials.

The Georgia Professional Standards Commission had recommended revocation on a number of grounds related to Clark's handling of her daughter's case.  Carrie O'Connor was a guidance counselor at Montgomery County High School accused of inappropriate behavior with a 16-year-old male student.  She was later acquitted of criminal charges in the case.
