April 16--  Students involved in the 2010 Youth Leadership Program sponsored by the Toombs-Montgomery Chamber of Commerce graduated Thursday.

Montgomery County High School senior Sarah Morris says she learned some important lessons in the program.  "Both counties are just a great place to live.  I learned how to communicate better with people my age, and when it comes to the leadership part, I learned that some people are natural born leaders, but it takes everybody to get a job done because you can't get a job done by yourself," she said.

This year's class included 20 students from area high schools and is the second class to be led by adult sponsors Kelly and Craig Stuckless.  Craig says they see it as an investment in the future.

"The youth in this community are going to be our future leaders and I see some great potential leaders in this program.  This generation has great potential that I think we overlook, and until you get involved with them, you really don't see that.  I've seen it and we don't have to worry about future leaders developing," Stuckless believes.
