At the signing ceremony are (L-R) Andrew College Academic Dean Jason Goodner, Andrew President Dr. David Seyle, BPC President Dr. David Smith and BPC VP Jim Beall.

Brewton Parker College and Andrew College from Cuthbert in southwest Georgia inked an agreement allowing Andrew College students to complete a four-year degree program through Brewton Parker.

Andrew College is a two-year institution and its president, Dr. David Seyle, believes this is an important step for his students.  "It enables us to share with our students that they can come to Andrew for two years and be accepted at Brewton Parker after that to finish their program of study with another school.  It also gives us the opportunity to keep some of the students on campus for a third and fourth year because they will be able to study at Brewton Parker on our campus," he said.

Brewton Parker President Dr. David Smith says the agreement will be advantageous for both Brewton Parker and the students at Andrew College who want to earn a baccalaureate degree.

Andrew College was founded in 1854 and is affiliated with the Methodist Church.  Brewton Parker is the only accredited four-year Christian College in south Georgia.
