Alumni & Friends Golf at Rocky Creek

Math & Science Festival

            BPC’s Division of Mathematics and Natural Sciences will host the annual Spring Math & Science Festival Saturday, April 17 at the Morgan-Moses Math & Science Building on the Mount Vernon campus from 10 a.m. to noon. Miss BPC Pageant

            The Miss BPC Pageant will be held Saturday, April 17 at 6 p.m. in Gilder Recital Hall on the Mount Vernon campus. BPC female students will compete for the crown of Miss BPC in this scholarship pageant. For more information, contact the Office of Student Affairs at 912-583-3206.

Mark Walton: Visiting Writer and Free ‘Bolt’ Screening

            BPC’s Arts & Letters Division invites the community to attend a Free Public Screening of Disney’s “Bolt” Monday, April 19 at 7 p.m. at the Pal Theatre in Vidalia. This free screening is a special presentation from the Pal Theatre and the Arts & Letters Division on behalf of the college’s Visiting Writer’s Series, featuring Mark Walton. Walton, a DreamWorks artist and animator, and former Disney storyboard artist, animator and actor, will visit campus April 19-21 to conduct student interviews and workshops about the creative arts. Faculty Recital

            BPC Music presents adjunct faculty Elizabeth Zettler and Jamie White, sopranos, in a Faculty Concert Tuesday, April 20 at 7 p.m. in Gilder Recital Hall. Admission is free and the community is encouraged to attend.

SpringFest Concert

            BPC Music presents “SpringFest” Thursday, April 22 at 7 p.m. in Gilder Recital Hall on the Mount Vernon campus. The concert will feature the BPC Jazz Voices, Brass Ensemble, Concert Choir and Baron Ringers. Admission is free but donations are welcome. BPC Music is fundraising for the BPC Concert Choir and Choral Society’s once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City, June 27, 2010. Women’s Fellowship Food Booth at Vidalia Onion Festival Street Dance

            BPC’s Women’s Fellowship will again set up a food booth at this year’s Vidalia Onion Festival Street Dance, Friday, April 23. This year’s booth will feature BBQ Sandwiches, Ruth’s Award Winning Vidalia’s Favorite Onion Dip and Flavored Iced Coffees we proudly brew with Starbucks Coffee. You won’t want to miss this year’s Street Dance and get a taste of Brewton-Parker College! All profits will benefit the Renovation of McAllister Hall, the Oldest Women’s Residence Hall on the Mount Vernon campus.
