December 8-- What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. NOT! The Vidalia Onion Festival Air Show delegation reports from Las Vegas that the U.S. Navy Blue Angels will headline the 2010 air show. Marsha Temples and Craig Stuckless got the news while attending the annual International Conference of Air Shows.
"I just want to tell everybody that once again the Blue Angels have chosen to come and fly at our Vidalia Onion Festival Air Show. It just goes to show that the city of Vidalia is well respected in the air show industry," Stuckless told us in a phone call from Vegas. This is the fourth time in eight years the Blue Angels have been to Vidalia. Other acts booked so far include a new act called "Team Chaos," a jet truck which will race the Air Force Jet Car on the Vidalia Regional Airport Runway. "It's just a well-rounded show and we're looking forward to bringing it back to Vidalia again," Stuckless says.
