Marijuana Plants Found in Toombs

September 28--  A Toombs County man is being accused of raising marijuana plants at his residence.


Sheriff Kight With Two of the Plants Found Saturday.

Sheriff Junior Kight says over 200 marijuana plants and guns were found Saturday inside the home of 55-year-old Richard Calvin O'Neal at 751 Maxwell O'Neal Road near Lyons.  Three huge plants over seven feel tall were also found growing near O'Neal's hog pen.

He's been released on bond facing charges of manufacturing of marijuana and possession of a gun by a convicted felon.
