August 3--  A Vidalia man is being charged in connection with a traffic death.

Toombs County Sheriff Junior Kight reports 48-year-old Willis Sellers of Vidalia is charged with vehicular homicide in the death late last month of 37-year-old Jack Larry Halligan of Vidalia.

According to the Sheriff, Halligan was a passenger in a truck driven by Sellers when the truck hit a culvert near John's Country Junction in south Toombs County.  Halligan was thrown from the truck and suffered what proved to be fatal head injuries when he landed on the culvert.  He died four days after being taken to a Savannah hospital.
