Traffic Death in Toombs

July 29--  A Vidalia man has died of injuries suffered in a traffic accident.

Toombs County Sheriff Junior Kight says 37-year-old Jack Larry Halligan suffered head injuries when he was thrown from a pickup truck which hit a culvert near John's Country Junction in south Toombs County.  The accident happened late last Friday afternoon and Halligan died four days later in a Savannah hospital.

Sheriff Kight says the Georgia State Patrol is investigating the accident.
