Montgomery Co Traffic Death

July 10-- A Montgomery County senior citizen died Friday afternoon in a wreck on U.S. Highway 280.

Montgomery County Sheriff Clarence Sanders says 81-year-old Emily Robison of Ailey was killed when her car rear-ended a Red Cross truck which was enroute to Mount Vernon for a bloodmobile.  The accident happened between McCord's and McGregor.  

According to the Sheriff, Mrs. Robison's car caught fire and was destroyed, however, by-standers removed her from the vehicle before the fire and she was not burned.
