VPD Receives VHA Grant

July 2--  The Vidalia Police Department will use a $25,750 grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to buy undercover surveillance equipment, safety vests and digital fingerprinting equipment.  The Vidalia Housing Authority obtained the grant in support of Vidalia police efforts to maintain law and order for the residents in the city's public housing projects.
