Produce Company Suffers Damage

June 25--  Smoke billows from the storage warehouse and shipping dock of J&S Produce in Mount Vernon Thursday afternoon.  Montgomery County Sheriff Clarence Sanders says a trash fire may have spread to some wooden pallets and to the inside of the warehouse.  He says coolers used to store produce waiting shipment were heavily damaged.  The company, formerly Oconee River Produce, is owned by Joey Johnson and Scott Rudd.
