June 10--  Three drug related arrests were made Tuesday evening by the Vidalia Police Department while executing a search warrant at 208 First Avenue in Vidalia. Police are charging Tracy Napoleon Ates, Deneisha Teshon Holland, and Florilla Annette Maxwell with Possession of Marijuana with the intent to Distribute.

ImagePolice confiscated 319 bags of high grade marijuana with an estimated street value of $4,700 plus an automobile, laptop and other items found in the house.

Vidalia Police Detective Michael Clements says the drugs were found in what is referred to as a trap house.  “A lot of the bigger drug dealers around here are using trap houses now, in which, they set up a house for somebody, send them in to sell the drugs for them, and then we have to come by later and try to get enough pieces to get in the house to seize it,” he said.
