Eagle Juniors Soar on State Test
Tuesday, 02 June 2009

June 2--  School officials in Montgomery County are proud of the 62 members of the 2009 junior class for their performance on the Georgia High School Graduation Test.

"For the second year in a row, we are leading our RESA district and this entire area with the results of the Georgia High School Graduation Tests," says Montgomery County High School principal Luke Smith, "and we are very pleased with the results."

The Montgomery students' pass rates place them in the top two percent statewide in social studies, the upper six percent in science, the top seven percent in math, and the top 25 percent in English.  Eighty-seven percent of the students passed all four parts of the test in their first attempt and that puts them in the top eight percent statewide.
