Schools Earn "K-Club $"

May 11--  Following another successful Vidalia Onion Run, the Vidalia Kiwanis Club honored the local schools with the highest percentage of students taking part in the run.

ImageToombs Middle School School won top honors this year and received $1,000 from Kiwanians.  Left to right are School Principal Pamela Sears, Kiwanian Tom Peterson, III., and Coaches Randy Callahan and Will Mallory.

J.R. Trippe Middle School won the second place award of $500 and Vidalia High School received $250 for third place.
