Toombs County Grand Jury Indictments

April 27--  Nearly a third of the 37 indictments returned by the February term of the Toombs County grand jury involved drug charges.

Court officials say Eric Douglas is accused of drug trafficking. Three people indicted for selling cocaine are James Hayes, Rudolph Burton and Luther Hunt. Others charged with drug possession are Anthony Holland, Jimmy Keller, Michael Wedd, Sharon Pope, Homer Christopher Fields, Sonya Clements, Michael Links, and James Mainer, Jr.

The grand jury indicted William Roy Willis with the attempted murder of Maria Jones.  He allegedly shot the woman multiple times with a 9mm pistol in November, 2007.  In another case, Wallace Holloway was indicted for the alleged shooting of Arlene Holloway in January.

Four people were indicted for molesting children.  They include Steve Morris, Jerry Nick Bellflower, Ramon Perez and Terrance Thomas.  A fifth man, Angel Gutierres, was indicted for cruelty to children for allegedly breaking the leg of a minor girl last August.

Four people indicted for robbery are Derrick Roundtree, Actavious Langston, Johnny Burley, and Roy Abrams.

Also indicted for burglary are 13 people including Clifford Bagley, Jr., Donterrious King, James Wilds, Brandon Armstrong, Darrell Ford, James Joiner, Jr., Billy Bunn, Luther Herndon, Fane Warren, Roderick Harvey, Isaac Tolbert, Raphelle Wills, and Danny Auvil.

Indicted for alleged theft are Jeremy White and Roderick Harvey, while eight people are facing credit card fraud indictments.  They are Mathew Moyer, Jacob Tomason; Jeannie, Joseph and Larry Wilkerson; Zachary Hitchcock, Brittany Holland and Kenya Polke.

Jimmy Grainger was indicted for forging five checks; shoplifting indictments were returned against Noel Rudov and Jimmy Keller; and John McGuire allegedly violated a family violence protective order and was indicted for aggravated stalking.
