Onion Festival Arts & Crafts "Sweetens the Pot"
Monday, 06 April 2009

April 6--  Organizers of the Arts and Crafts Show at this year's Vidalia Onion Festival are "sweetening the pot" for shoppers.

Joel Garrett of the Vidalia Lions Club, which co-hosts the Arts and Crafts with the Vidalia Women's Club, says Yumion dolls will be hidden in vendors booths.  Customers who find them will be in the running to win a television from Farmers Furniture, a grill from Loew's and a $100 gift certificate from Walmart.

Garrett says more improvements have been made to the Arts and Crafts site and more vendors are expected this year.  He also reports the post office will have a booth to ship purchases of merchandise and Sweet Vidalia Onions.
