Vidalia Woman Sentenced to Probation

March 6-- A former employee of the Montgomery County Extension Service has been sentenced for embezzling over $4,000 from the 4-H livestock checking account.

Mandy Chambers of Vidalia was sentenced by Superior Court Judge Sarah Wall to five years probation and fined $1,000.  She was also ordered to make restitution of  $4,192.57 and to serve 50 hours of community service.

Chambers entered a guilty plea January 5th.
