Mr. Wayne Marsh, Kibbee Community

Aug 19--Mr. Wayne Marsh, age 61, of the Kibbee Community, died Monday, August 18, 2014 in Treutlen County from injuries received in a logging accident.  He was a native of Kibbee and lived there and in Dublin most of his life.  He was a retired truck driver, and was preceded in death by his mother, Annie Jesteen McGahee; father, David Marsh; and brother, Paul McGahee.

Mr. Marsh is survived by two daughters, April Smith of Lyons, and Windy Edenfield and husband Wayne of Swainsboro; father, James Richard McGahee of Kibbee; five siblings, J.W. McGahee, of Kibbee, Jackie Miller and husband Mike of Kibbee, Betty Brooks and husband Mike of Richmond Hill, Olivia Marsh of Greenville, South Carolina, and Hilda Braswell and husband William of Alston; three grandchildren, Hank White, Breanna Edenfield, and Jerry Smith, Jr., and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, August 21st at 11:00 a.m. in the Oasis Church of God with Bishop Gilbert Wommack officiating.  Burial will follow in the Braddy Cemetery in Kibbee.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00, and will assemble at the residence of a daughter, April Smith, 507 North Jefferson St., Lyons.
